Liverpool Signs Spanish Forward Victor Munoz from Osasuna
Liverpool has officially announced its first signing of the summer transfer window, securing an agreement with Spanish forward Victor Munoz to join the team from Osasuna.
The English club confirmed in an official statement that the deal has been finalized following the completion of necessary procedures, including work permits and international transfer clearances.
Munoz underwent a medical examination while with the Spanish national team during their training camp in Tennessee, USA, before signing a long-term contract with the Reds.
The 22-year-old forward is the first reinforcement for Liverpool under head coach Andoni Iraola and will join team training after completing his current participation with Spain in the 2026 World Cup.
Munoz has recently drawn attention after scoring a goal in his international debut against Serbia last March. He has since appeared in two matches for La Roja.
During the last season, the young striker showcased impressive performances with Osasuna, playing 34 matches across all competitions, scoring 7 goals, and providing 5 assists for his teammates.
Munoz moved to Osasuna last summer from Real Madrid after making limited appearances for the first team. He previously progressed through Barcelona’s youth academy before continuing his professional career.
The player is expected to maintain his international commitments with Spain as he prepares for an upcoming match against Saudi Arabia in the group stage of the World Cup.
