Canada’s Jonathan Leads Official Lineup Against Qatar in World Cup 2026
Head coach Jesse Marsch has announced Canada’s official lineup ahead of their match against Qatar, set to take place this Friday morning at BC Place Stadium. This clash is part of the second round of matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 2026 World Cup is being hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, featuring 48 teams. The tournament commenced on June 11 and will conclude on July 19.
The match between Canada and Qatar will kick off at 1:00 AM Egypt and Saudi Arabia time, which is 2:00 AM in the UAE.

In their opening match of Group B at the World Cup 2026, Canada drew 1-1 with Bosnia and Herzegovina at BMO Field in Toronto. Meanwhile, Qatar managed to secure a last-minute equalizer against Switzerland with a score of 1-1 at Levi’s Stadium in California during their first group match.
