The Cairo News Channel reported that the head of the Egyptian intelligence service met with Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, in Tripoli. The meeting also included General Saad al-Hifter and U.S. Presidential Envoy for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulus.

During the discussions, the parties focused on supporting the unification of institutions and bridging perspectives through a comprehensive Libyan-Libyan path towards stability and prosperity.
