The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has announced the weather conditions expected for Friday, June 19, 2026. The day will begin with mild and humid temperatures across the country.
During the daytime, temperatures will rise to warm and humid levels in northern regions and Greater Cairo, while southern areas will experience extremely hot conditions. By nightfall, moderate and humid weather will prevail in most areas, with only slightly warmer temperatures in southern Upper Egypt.
The authority warned that elevated humidity levels will make the actual temperature feel one to two degrees Celsius higher than the forecasted shade temperatures.

Mist:.
Mist is expected to form during early morning hours (from 4 AM to 8 AM) on some roads leading to and from northern regions to Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt. This mist may be dense at times.
Wind Activity:.
Wind activity will be observed intermittently in areas of northwest coastal regions, Delta Region, Greater Cairo, and South Sinai. Wind speeds are expected to range from 30 to 40 km/h and may stir up sand and dust in exposed areas of southern Egypt and the Red Sea Governorate.
Rain Chances and Clouds:.
There is a very slight chance (approximately 20%) of light rain occurring intermittently in parts of the northern coastal provinces and North Delta Region. Additionally, there may be weak chances for low cloud formation over scattered areas of northeast coastal regions, Delta Region, Greater Cairo, and Canal Cities. This could lead to light drizzle that is not impactful in some locations.
