Weather Forecast for Saturday, June 20, 2026: High Temperatures Across Egypt

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has forecasted hot weather across northern regions, including Greater Cairo, while southern areas will experience extreme heat during the daytime on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The evening will bring moderate temperatures to most areas, with warmer conditions in southern Upper Egypt.

In a statement, the authority noted that there will be misty conditions in the morning on some roads leading to and from northern regions to Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. This fog may be dense at times on certain routes.

Winds are expected to pick up across most of the country and may stir up dust and sand in areas of South Sinai and the Red Sea Governorate intermittently.

Regarding sea conditions, the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters and northwesterly winds. In contrast, the Red Sea will experience conditions between moderate and turbulent, with wave heights between 2 to 2.5 meters and also northwesterly winds.

The Gulf of Suez will see moderate to turbulent conditions as well, with wave heights ranging from 2 to 3 meters and northwesterly winds.
