Severe Heat Expected Across Egypt Tomorrow, Meteorological Authority Warns

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has released its weather forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

Severe Heat Predicted Nationwide

Experts anticipate that the weather will be extremely hot across most regions, with warmer conditions expected along the northern coasts during the day. Nighttime temperatures will be moderate in many areas, while southern parts of Upper Egypt may experience warmer conditions.

Morning Fog Advisory

The forecast also includes the possibility of morning fog on several routes leading to and from northern regions, including Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and parts of northern Upper Egypt. This fog may be dense at times, potentially reducing visibility on some roads.

Wind Activity Expected

Wind activity is expected in areas of Greater Cairo and South Sinai, which may stir up dust and sand in parts of the Western Desert and northern and central Upper Egypt at intermittent intervals.

Sea Conditions in Mediterranean and Red Seas

The Mediterranean Sea is predicted to have light to moderate conditions with wave heights ranging from 1.25 to 1.75 meters. Winds are expected to blow from the northeast to northwest.

Meanwhile, the Red Sea is anticipated to be moderate with wave heights between 1.5 and 2 meters, with winds blowing from the northwest.
