Weather Forecast for Monday, June 8, 2026: High Temperatures Across Egypt

Experts from the Meteorological Authority predict extremely hot weather across most of Egypt today, Monday, with warm conditions along the northern coasts. In contrast, nighttime temperatures will be moderate across many regions, becoming slightly warm in southern Upper Egypt.

Morning fog is expected on several roads leading to and from northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. This fog may occasionally reduce visibility. There is a slight chance of light rain in some areas along the northern coasts and the Nile Delta at intermittent times. Winds will also pick up in Greater Cairo, the northwestern coasts, the western desert, southern Sinai, and both northern and southern Upper Egypt at intervals throughout the day.

The Mediterranean Sea will experience light to moderate conditions with wave heights ranging from 1.25 to 1.75 meters and winds blowing from the northeast to northwest. Meanwhile, the Red Sea will be moderate with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.25 meters and winds coming from the northwest.
