Weather Forecast for Sunday, June 21, 2026: Temperature Updates Across Egypt

Experts from the Meteorological Authority predict hot weather today, Sunday, across northern Egypt up to Greater Cairo, with extremely high temperatures expected in South Sinai and southern regions. Meanwhile, mild temperatures will prevail at night across most areas, becoming warm in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

Morning fog is expected on some roads leading to and from northern Egypt up to Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, Central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, which may be dense at times. There is a very low chance of light rain on the northern coasts and northern Delta regions at intermittent times. Winds will be active at times across most areas, potentially stirring up dust and sand in exposed regions of northern and southern Upper Egypt and South Sinai intermittently.

The Mediterranean Sea will have light to moderate conditions with wave heights ranging from 1 to 1.75 meters and northwesterly winds. In contrast, the Red Sea will be moderate to rough with wave heights between 2 to 3 meters, also featuring northwesterly winds. The Gulf of Suez will experience moderate to rough conditions as well, with wave heights between 2 to 3 meters and northwesterly winds.
