Hossam Ammouta Set to Arrive in Cairo for Al Ahly Role

Media figure Gamal El-Ghandour has revealed the arrival date of Moroccan coach Hossam Ammouta, who is set to take over as the new head coach of Al Ahly’s first football team, as he prepares for his official duties ahead of the upcoming season.

El-Ghandour stated that Ammouta is expected to arrive in Cairo on June 26, following the completion of all arrangements by Al Ahly’s management to welcome him and his coaching staff.

The club plans to hold a press conference immediately upon Ammouta’s arrival to officially introduce him to the media and fans, prior to the commencement of the preparations for the new season.

Additionally, it was noted that the new head coach has already begun communicating and coordinating with Al Ahly officials in recent weeks to discuss several important matters concerning the team.

These discussions include planning for the upcoming season’s training program, assessing the team’s needs for new signings, and determining the status of certain players expected to leave during the next transfer window.

Ammouta is anticipated to develop a comprehensive vision for the team’s structure in preparation for the training camp and to ready Al Ahly for upcoming local and continental challenges.
