Financial Details of Hussein Amouta’s Contract with Al Ahly Revealed After Six-Month Negotiations
Moroccan media reports have unveiled the financial details of Hussein Amouta’s contract as the new head coach of Al Ahly football club, following a formal agreement for a two-year tenure.
Amouta is set to commence his coaching duties with Al Ahly after signing the contract, which comes after extensive negotiations that lasted several months before the official announcement of the agreement.
According to Moroccan newspaper “Hesport,” Al Ahly management initiated communication with Amouta back in January through Khaled Mortagy, a board member who played a crucial role in finalizing the deal.
The report indicated that Mortagy made several trips to Morocco—three in total—beginning in January and continuing through May, culminating in a final agreement reached this June.
Furthermore, it was reported that Amouta will receive a monthly salary of $220,000, which includes his entire coaching staff, along with additional incentives tied to victories in key matches and winning championships.
The coaching staff accompanying Amouta includes a first assistant from Morocco, another from Portugal, along with a Brazilian fitness coach and a French performance analyst.
