Hossam Labib Discusses Resolution of Zamalek Club Land Crisis in October

Hossam Labib, the president of Zamalek Club, provided insights into the resolution of the club’s land crisis in Sixth of October City, emphasizing that this issue was one of the most challenging faced by the club in recent years.

In an interview on Sada El-Balad TV, Labib revealed that the land crisis has persisted for over 20 years, highlighting that the situation was complex and required state intervention to reach a final solution that protects the club’s rights.

Labib stated that the Zamalek Board of Directors took proactive steps in this direction, noting that directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi played a crucial role in resolving the crisis due to his vision that facilitated finding an appropriate solution.

He emphasized that the goal was to establish a framework ensuring the club’s rights while putting an end to issues related to this file. He expressed gratitude to President El-Sisi and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly for their support in concluding the crisis.

Labib also praised several state institutions and officials who contributed to resolving the matter, particularly Youth and Sports Minister Jawhar Nabil, Housing and Urban Communities Minister Randa El-Manshawi, and Mohamed Magdy, head of the Youth and Sports Committee in Parliament.

He explained that collaboration among these entities led to numerous intensive meetings aimed at reaching optimal solutions, expressing appreciation for their efforts during this period.

Concluding his remarks, Labib affirmed that the solution reached serves the club’s interests and represents a significant step toward achieving financial sustainability and ending long-standing crises.
