Zamalek Club Thanks President Sisi for Resolving Land Crisis in 6th of October City

The Zamalek Club’s Board of Directors has officially expressed gratitude to President egyptian-brazilian-summit-held-on-the-sidelines-of-g7-meeting-in-france/">Abdel Fattah El-Sisi following directives that helped resolve the club’s land crisis in 6th of October City and allocate a new plot for the establishment of a club branch.

In its statement, the club, led by Captain Hussein Labib, extended heartfelt thanks on behalf of its General Assembly members and Zamalek fans to President El-Sisi for his guidance that led to a final solution for the branch’s issue, fulfilling the aspirations of supporters after years of waiting.

Zamalek also praised the efforts made by various state institutions, primarily the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, as well as the Youth and Sports Committee in Parliament. The club noted that this cooperation played a crucial role in examining different alternatives and arriving at an appropriate solution that serves the public interest.

The statement added that the model reached not only addresses the current crisis but also represents an important developmental and investment opportunity. The allocated land boasts a prime location and strategic potential that could yield economic and investment returns exceeding previous possibilities, according to studies prepared by the club to maximize benefits from its assets.

Zamalek indicated that this decision reflects the state’s recognition of the importance of sports clubs as community and developmental institutions that contribute to supporting youth, building Egyptian citizens, enhancing social cohesion, and providing a comprehensive sports and service environment.

The club concluded its statement by reaffirming its full commitment to completing the project according to the highest standards and within specified timelines, aiming to meet the ambitions of its members and fans while enhancing Zamalek’s status as one of Egypt’s leading clubs in the region.
