The Ministry of Health and Population has announced the closure and sealing of 27 unlicensed medical facilities across the governorates of Qena, Aswan, Minya, and Giza. This action is part of intensified regulatory campaigns aimed at ensuring the legality of medical practices. The ministry also reported several cases of impersonation in medical practice.

This initiative follows directives from Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, to enhance oversight of the private medical sector and protect citizens from illegal practices.
