Completion of Development and Paving Works on Hawamdia Bridge

giza-governor-provides-immediate-aid-to-60-families-affected-by-building-collapse/">Dr. Ahmed El Ansary, the Governor of Giza, announced the completion of development and paving works on Hawamdia Bridge as part of the governorate’s plan to enhance the efficiency of its road network and facilitate traffic flow for citizens.

The governor explained that the project was carried out by the Roads Directorate and included the development and paving of the bridge over a length of 800 meters and a width of 6 meters in each direction, which will significantly improve traffic movement and achieve the necessary fluidity.

El Ansary added that the works involved paving, maintaining joints, curbs, and sidewalks, as well as repairing and painting the bridge’s iron railings to enhance safety measures.

The Governor of Giza indicated that efforts will continue to implement development plans for roads and traffic axes across various sectors to ensure ease of mobility and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.

The project was closely monitored by Eng. Nagwa El Said, Director of the Roads Directorate in the governorate.
