Weather Authority Warns of Rising Temperatures and Advises Caution
Weather Authority.
The General Authority for Meteorology has announced an expected rise in temperatures across most parts of the country, with increases ranging between two to three degrees Celsius.
The authority indicated that the weather will be moderate during the early morning hours, while severe heat will prevail during the day in most areas. Coastal regions will experience warm to hot conditions, with a forecasted maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius in Greater Cairo tomorrow.
Additionally, increased humidity levels are expected to enhance the sensation of heat by one to two degrees Celsius compared to shade temperatures.
The authority also warned of possible fog formation from 4 AM to 8 AM in areas from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo, including cities along the Suez Canal and parts of North Sinai and Upper Egypt. This fog may be dense at times, leading to reduced visibility on some roads.
There will also be occasional winds blowing at speeds between 30 and 32 kilometers per hour in areas such as Greater Cairo, northwestern coastal regions, South Sinai, the Red Sea Governorate, and both northern and southern Upper Egypt. These winds may stir up dust and sand in parts of the western desert.
The authority urged citizens to exercise caution while driving during early morning hours due to the fog and advised them to drink plenty of water while avoiding direct sunlight exposure during peak hours.
