Giza Governor Orders Immediate Demolition of Construction Violations
Dr. Ahmed El Ansary, the Governor of Giza, conducted a field tour in the centers of Abu Nomros, Badrashin, and Hawamdiyah to assess the quality of services provided to citizens and to identify and address violations promptly.
During his tour, the governor emphasized the need to enhance cleaning efficiency in areas such as Shabramant, Saqqara, and the western bank of the Marioutiya Road, as well as at the entrance to Abu Sir village in Abu Nomros and in Mit Rahina and Al-Aziziya in Badrashin.
He discovered several cases of unauthorized construction and directed a review of licenses issued in Abu Sir to ensure compliance with regulations.
The governor ordered immediate removal of encroachments on agricultural land in Abu Sir village and mandated legal action against violators.
Additionally, he identified a waste sorting warehouse on the factory road in Hawamdiyah, a scrap storage facility, and a garbage sorting site next to a construction materials storage area. He ordered these illegal establishments closed due to their threat to surrounding residential areas and their unappealing appearance.

The governor has also tasked a committee led by the assistant secretary, including representatives from spatial changes monitoring, engineering office, field follow-up, legal affairs, and governance departments. This committee will review all construction activities, licenses, and spatial changes within Hawamdiyah and Badrashin centers. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of implementing a cleaning improvement campaign and road leveling efforts in Tamwa village within Abu Nomros center.
