The Ministry of Awqaf in Egypt has launched 26 awareness campaigns for female preachers across various regional directorates, excluding the Suez Directorate. These campaigns are titled “Cheating in Exams and Its Impact on Society” and are part of the initiative “Correct Your Concepts.” This effort aims to promote enlightened moderate thought, reinforce values and ethics, and build sound awareness within the community.

This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s strategy and its outreach plan to combat terrorism, extremism, and all forms of ideological radicalism. It also addresses the decline of values and ethics while contributing to the restoration and construction of a national Egyptian identity based on religious and patriotic principles that aid in building civilization.

The campaigns highlighted the dangers of cheating in exams as a behavior that contradicts the values of honesty and integrity promoted by Islam. They discussed its negative effects on individuals and society, including undermining equal opportunities, weakening self-reliance, and fostering a culture of deceit that harms public interest.

Moreover, these campaigns emphasized the importance of instilling moral values among youth, reinforcing concepts of honesty and responsibility, and demonstrating that true success is achieved through diligence and commitment rather than through cheating or deception.

Prior to these campaigns, a Quranic reading session was held for the female preachers. This session reflects the ministry’s commitment to enhancing the Quranic and educational aspects while bolstering the role of female preachers in disseminating correct religious awareness and instilling ethical values within society, contributing to personal development and fostering sound awareness.
