Egypt’s Ministry of Awqaf Launches 26 Outreach Campaigns for Female Preachers
On Friday, June 13, 2026, Egypt’s Ministry of Awqaf launched 26 outreach campaigns for female preachers across various regional directorates nationwide, excluding the Suez Directorate. This initiative is part of the “Correct Your Concepts” campaign aimed at promoting enlightened moderate thought and enhancing societal awareness.
The outreach campaigns are aligned with the ministry’s strategic plan to combat extremism and terrorism, address various forms of ideological and behavioral deviation, uphold values and ethics, contribute to the development of Egyptian national identity, and support efforts to build human capacity and foster civilization.
The focus of these campaigns is on the theme: “The Absence of Communication Between Parents and Children,” highlighting the significance of positive family dialogue and fostering trust and understanding within families. This initiative aims to protect children from deviant ideas and negative behaviors while reinforcing noble ethical and human values.
Prior to the campaigns, a recitation session was organized for female preachers, reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to integrating Quranic education with enhancing the preaching and educational roles of female preachers in serving the community and disseminating accurate religious teachings.
The Ministry of Awqaf emphasizes that these outreach campaigns represent a crucial component of its preaching strategy, given the active role female preachers play in raising awareness, addressing societal issues, and reinforcing familial and educational values that contribute to building a more cohesive and stable society.
