Ministry of Awqaf.

The Ministry of Awqaf has announced the opening of applications for individuals to accompany the supervisory missions for Hajj in the year 1448 AH, corresponding to 2027 AD.

This initiative continues the ministry’s efforts in providing religious guidance and awareness services to pilgrims visiting the Sacred House of Allah. The success of the supervisory missions in 1447 AH (2026 AD), which included educational sessions and lectures on Hajj rituals, as well as addressing pilgrims’ inquiries, has significantly contributed to the proper performance of these rituals.

Applications are open to all appointed imams and those employed under a financial degree within the Ministry’s budget, including inspectors and religious leaders who have served for at least five years without any penalties or sanctions imposed on them in the last three years. Additionally, applications are welcome from all appointed female preachers and accredited female religious educators within the ministry.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:.

  1. Successfully pass the ministry’s written and oral exams with a strong performance in memorizing and reciting the Quran, as well as understanding Hajj jurisprudence and its rulings. This is crucial as accompanying individuals are responsible for providing religious awareness and clarifying Sharia rulings related to Hajj.
  2. Applicants must not have previously performed the Hajj pilgrimage at the expense of the ministry.
  3. The age of applicants should not exceed fifty-five years at the time this announcement is published.

The ministry encourages interested candidates to complete their application forms through the provided link within twenty days from the date of this announcement.
