Cairo Education Authority Releases Intermediate Certificate Results Today

The Cairo Directorate of Education and Technical Education announced that the results for the Intermediate Certificate for the second semester of the academic year 2025-2026 will be available today, Saturday, in all schools across the governorate.

Students are advised to visit their schools to obtain their official results rather than relying solely on the electronic results available on the directorate’s website.

Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, approved the results of the second semester examinations for the Basic Education Completion Certificate (Intermediate Certificate) on Wednesday, reporting a pass rate of 73%. A total of 203,162 students registered for the exams, with 197,252 attending and 144,114 passing.

The governor also announced specific results for students with disabilities: a pass rate of 96.9% for hearing-impaired students, 78% for blind students, and 77.9% for international school students. The pass rate for vocational intermediate exams was recorded at 60.88%, while those in sports intermediate exams achieved a pass rate of 61%.

Dr. Hamat Abu Keila, Director of the Education Directorate, noted that a total of 303 students achieved perfect scores; this includes 294 from general intermediate education, three from vocational intermediate education, three blind students, and three hearing-impaired students.

Additionally, the Helwan Educational Administration ranked first in the governorate with a pass rate of 97%, followed by the Rod El Farag Educational Administration with a rate of 94.4%. The Shubra Educational Administration secured third place with a pass rate of 89%.
