Transfer News: Aston Villa Eyes Dean Henderson as Martinez Replacement, West Ham’s Pablo Linked to Wolves
Aston Villa is reportedly considering Dean Henderson of Crystal Palace as a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez. The club enjoyed a remarkable 2025-26 season, finishing fourth in the Premier League and winning the Europa League trophy.
To build on this success and compete for more titles, strengthening the squad is essential, with finding a successor for goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez being a top priority. Martinez is reportedly nearing an agreement to join Juventus, raising questions about how much longer the 33-year-old can perform at the highest level.
According to Football Insider, Villa has targeted Dean Henderson as a possible signing, although Crystal Palace may be reluctant to part ways with the 29-year-old.

Meanwhile, Everton is reportedly eyeing Tottenham Hotspur defender Djed Spence as part of their search for a new right-back this summer. After missing out on European football last season, Everton’s fans were disappointed; however, manager David Moyes managed to secure their Premier League status.
The club’s stable position in the league could make it an appealing destination for right-back prospects. Following Seamus Coleman’s departure after 17 years, Jake O’Brien has stepped into the right-back role but may be better suited to center-back.
Sport Witness reports that Djed Spence is among Everton’s targets this summer, especially after Tottenham extended Pedro Porro’s contract.

West Ham United Transfer News: Potential Move for Pablo to Wolves?
In other transfer news, West Ham United striker Pablo has emerged as a target for Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Hammers faced relegation from the Premier League at the end of the 2025-26 season, finishing in 18th place and ending a streak of 14 consecutive seasons in the top flight.
It would not be surprising if head coach Nuno Espirito Santo sought to revamp his squad, particularly in attacking positions. Pablo joined West Ham in January from Gil Vicente but struggled to find the net during his 14 Premier League appearances.
Football Insider suggests that Wolves are well-positioned to acquire Pablo, partly due to his previous connection with boss Cesar Peixoto at Gil Vicente during the 2025-26 season.
