Leandro Trossard Open to Premier League Move Amid Transfer Speculation
Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is reportedly considering a move to another Premier League club during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old is currently competing for Belgium in the World Cup, having started in Monday’s 1-1 draw against Egypt.
Despite playing a key role in Arsenal’s Premier League title victory in the 2025-26 season, Trossard’s future remains uncertain as he has only one year left on his contract.
His impressive performance last season, which included seven goals and 11 assists across both Premier League and Champions League matches, has made him an appealing target in the transfer market.
According to Football Insider, Aston Villa is particularly interested in acquiring Trossard’s services.

Trossard Shows Interest in Aston Villa Move
The report suggests that Trossard would be open to negotiations with Aston Villa, who have secured a spot in the Champions League for the 2026-27 season.
While clubs like Besiktas are also monitoring his situation, Villa appears to be Trossard’s preferred choice.
Arsenal is reportedly willing to sell Trossard for the right price and may be particularly inclined to deal with Aston Villa due to their interest in Morgan Rogers, who is valued around £80 million.
Although any potential deal for Trossard would be separate from discussions regarding Rogers, all parties may find mutual benefits in keeping negotiations flexible.

Trossard’s Role at Aston Villa: A Question Mark?
Trossard boasts an impressive record in the Premier League, contributing 52 goals and 41 assists over 239 appearances. However, with Emiliano Buendia performing well on Villa’s left side, regular starting opportunities under manager Unai Emery are not guaranteed for him.
This consideration will likely play a significant role in Trossard’s decision-making process as he contemplates extending his Premier League career into an eighth season. Currently, it remains unclear what fee Aston Villa would need to finalize a deal for Trossard.
