President Sisi Welcomes US-Iran Agreement, Commends Leadership of Trump and Beizakian

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has expressed his approval of the memorandum of understanding signed by US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Beizakian, which aims to enhance cooperation between the United States and Iran.

In a statement posted on his official Facebook account, President Sisi praised the leadership and wisdom of President Trump, commending his sincere efforts to support security and stability in the region. He also acknowledged the positive engagement from President Beizakian and his commitment to achieving mutual understandings.

President Sisi emphasized the importance of full coordination with regional partners that led to this satisfactory outcome. He expressed gratitude for the diligent efforts made by Pakistan, Qatar, and other members of the Quartet Committee, including Saudi Arabia and Turkey, in facilitating the signing of the memorandum.

Concluding his remarks, President Sisi expressed hope that this agreement would mark a significant turning point towards a new phase of regional de-escalation, trust-building, and enhanced cooperation that ensures sustainable security and stability in the Middle East.
