President Sisi Engages in Intensive Activities at G7 Summit in France

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the presidency, announced that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will begin his activities on Tuesday in Évian, France, to participate in the G7 Summit. He will be welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron upon his arrival at the summit venue.

The spokesperson added that President Sisi will partake in a working lunch titled “Addressing Crises and Ensuring Stability in the Middle East,” followed by a group photo with other participants.

Furthermore, he stated that President Sisi is scheduled to meet with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and review regional and international developments. The president will conclude his day’s activities by attending an official dinner hosted by President Macron and his wife in honor of the summit leaders.

On Wednesday, President Sisi will kick off his activities with a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, followed by a meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

The presidential spokesperson indicated that after these bilateral meetings, President Sisi will join a working lunch with G7 leaders and participating countries focused on “Ensuring Safe, Rapid, and Effective Deployment of Artificial Intelligence.” This lunch will also include personal representatives of G7 leaders, the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and representatives from major companies in this field.
