12 Tips for High School Students on Handling Bubble Sheets in Exams
Dr. Asem Hegazy, an educational expert and professor of educational psychology at the Graduate School of Education, Cairo University, has offered several tips for high school students on how to effectively manage their bubble sheets during the upcoming exams starting this Sunday.
Tips for Managing Bubble Sheets in High School Exams
Here are some key recommendations from the educational expert:.
- Use the correct tools for shading; a ballpoint pen is preferred, and avoid using liquid ink pens.
- Utilize a solid ruler to cover the previous question to ensure you stay within the designated answer area.
- If uncertain about an answer, use a pencil so you can erase it easily once you confirm the correct choice.
- If you shade a circle with a pen and later find an error, draw a large “X” that extends beyond the circle’s boundaries before shading in the correct answer.
- When shading in your answer, ensure you do not exceed the circle’s borders.
- Fully shade the circle to ensure it is completely marked.
- Verify that the question number on the bubble sheet matches that on your question paper.
- Make sure to fill in your personal information with a ballpoint pen and shade your seat number correctly.
- Check that your answer sheet matches the exam format before beginning.
- Review every five or ten questions to confirm you are answering in the correct space.
- Keep your bubble sheet clean and avoid folding it.
- Avoid writing anything outside of the designated circles for answers.
