Ferran Torres Leads Spain’s Lineup Against Cape Verde in 2026 World Cup
Spain’s head coach Luis de la Fuente has announced the official lineup for the national team as they prepare for a crucial match against Cape Verde in the 2026 World Cup.
The match is set to kick off at 7 PM today, Sunday, at Atlanta Stadium, as part of the opening round of Group H in the tournament.
The 2026 World Cup commenced last Thursday with a match between Mexico and South Africa. The tournament will run until July 19, featuring an expanded format with 48 teams competing across venues in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Spain enters this global competition as part of Group H, alongside Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, and Uruguay, forming a highly competitive group where only two teams will advance to the knockout stage.
