Weather Forecast for Monday, June 15, 2026: Regional Temperature Updates

Written byNoha El Shafie

Experts from the Meteorological Authority predict a hot day on Monday, June 15, with warm weather prevailing in northern regions up to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt. In contrast, southern Upper Egypt is expected to experience extreme heat. Nighttime temperatures will be moderate across most areas, while southern Upper Egypt will remain warm.

Morning fog is anticipated on several routes leading to and from northern regions, including Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. This fog may become dense at times on certain roads. Winds are expected to pick up in areas of Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, southern Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, potentially stirring dust and sand in parts of the Red Sea Governorate intermittently. There is also a low chance of light rain on the northeastern coastal areas and northern Nile Delta.

The Mediterranean Sea will have moderate conditions with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters and northwesterly winds. The Red Sea will experience moderate to rough conditions with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.5 meters and also northwesterly winds. The Gulf of Suez will see moderate to rough conditions with similar wave heights.
