Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Pakistan, and Canada Welcome US-Iran Ceasefire Agreement

Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received calls from Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Anita Anand, Canada’s Foreign Minister.
The ministers expressed their strong welcome for the agreement reached between the United States and Iran and appreciated Egypt’s efforts over the past months in facilitating this agreement through full cooperation and coordination with regional and international partners.
They expressed hope that the agreement would help create a conducive atmosphere and open a new chapter that supports security and stability in the region.
