The National Cancer Institute team conducted educational sessions on breast cancer, colon cancer, cervical cancer, lung cancer, human papillomavirus (HPV), and women’s health. These sessions highlighted risk factors, early symptoms, prevention methods, early detection techniques, and addressed misconceptions about cancers.

Fifty-five residents benefited from these sessions which also directed several cases to specialized clinics for further necessary medical examinations.
The Faculty of Dentistry team implemented an oral health awareness program that reached out to 80 residents. This initiative raised awareness about oral hygiene practices and prevention methods for dental diseases and gum issues while distributing free samples of toothpaste and toothbrushes to support daily health practices.
