Egypt’s Labor Minister Seeks to Open New Job Markets for Qualified Workforce
During the 114th International Labour Conference in Geneva, Egyptian Labor Minister Hassan Raddad met with Albania’s Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Olta Manjani. The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation in employment and human resource development.
The two officials explored opportunities for supplying skilled Egyptian labor to meet the needs of the Albanian job market, highlighting Egypt’s diverse and qualified workforce across various economic sectors.
They also discussed finalizing proposed memorandums of understanding aimed at establishing a framework for cooperation in labor matters and organizing workforce migration, which would benefit both nations and open new avenues for bilateral collaboration.
Additionally, the meeting covered areas of cooperation in training and skill development as well as the accreditation of occupational health and safety certifications. This would involve coordination between specialized institutions in both countries to leverage expertise and training centers, thereby enhancing workforce efficiency to meet modern job market demands.
Minister Raddad emphasized Egypt’s commitment, under political leadership directives, to strengthen collaboration with friendly nations in employment, training, and skill development. He reiterated the goal of opening new job markets for qualified Egyptian professionals to support development efforts and provide decent job opportunities for Egyptian youth.


Both sides stressed the importance of ongoing coordination and communication in the coming period to advance collaborative efforts further. This reflects the depth of relations between the two countries and serves the mutual interests of their peoples.
