Over 2 Million Students Begin Intermediate Certificate Exams

Students across Egypt are continuing their second semester exams for the intermediate certificate today, Sunday. Approximately 2,028,987 students are registered to take the third-grade intermediate exams nationwide, amid strict regulations.
In North Sinai, students are taking their second-day exams in engineering for two hours. Hamza Radwan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in North Sinai, reported that a total of 10,030 students are participating in the exams across 95 examination committees, which include 597 sub-committees in various educational districts. He noted that the exam committees have been prepared and equipped with essential facilities to ensure a calm and safe environment for the students.
Radwan added that a main operations room has been established at the directorate’s headquarters in Arish, along with sub-operational rooms in educational administrations to monitor the progress of the examinations and address any urgent issues. He mentioned that there were no reports or complaints received yesterday during the first day of intermediate certificate exams.
In Dakahlia, Engineer Mohamed Fouad El-Rashidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, confirmed that the second semester exams for the intermediate certificate continue for a third consecutive day. A total of 130,442 general intermediate students are taking their exams in algebra and statistics across 599 committees. Additionally, 2,400 vocational intermediate students are sitting for their mathematics exam at 16 committees.
El-Rashidi emphasized that the main operations room at the directorate is closely monitoring the examination process minute by minute in coordination with sub-operational rooms in educational administrations to ensure smooth committee operations and provide suitable conditions for all students.
