Arsenal Open to Offers for Leandro Trossard Amid Interest from Villa and Newcastle

Written byFerdous Saeed

Arsenal is reportedly open to receiving offers for Leandro Trossard this summer as manager Mikel Arteta aims to reshape his squad after a historic Premier League-winning season.

Following their first Premier League title in 22 years, Arsenal is expected to continue evolving under Arteta’s leadership. The club is willing to make tough decisions regarding several established players as they look to strengthen from a position of power.

Since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023, Trossard has become one of Arteta’s most dependable players, contributing key goals and assists that have earned him cult-hero status among the Gunners’ fanbase.

The 31-year-old played a crucial role during Arsenal’s memorable 2025-26 campaign, netting eight goals and providing ten assists across all competitions.

However, with his contract entering its final year and Arsenal preparing for an ambitious summer transfer window, there is a growing sentiment that now could be the perfect time to maximize his market value.

According to CaughtOffside, the Gunners would consider allowing Trossard to leave if a suitable offer materializes, making an exit from the Emirates Stadium increasingly likely.

Arsenal is also evaluating the futures of other attacking players, including Gabriel Martinelli, as they aim to create space for new signings and foster competition in the final third.

Besiktas is reportedly among the clubs actively pursuing Trossard, while Aston Villa and Newcastle United are closely monitoring the situation.

Inter Milan may also be an intriguing option given their history of recruiting experienced players who can make an immediate impact. Juventus has expressed interest as well; however, their lack of Champions League football could hinder their chances.

Arsenal’s interest in Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers is well-known, and Trossard’s uncertain future could pave the way for innovative negotiations between the two clubs.

While Rogers appears settled at Villa Park and plays a key role in Unai Emery’s plans, the chance to join the reigning Premier League champions would likely be very appealing if Arsenal formalizes their interest.

The Gunners are also monitoring highly-rated French attacker Eli Junior Kroupi, but competition for his signature is expected to be intense, with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich both showing strong interest.
