The Gunners will face a challenging visit to Anfield where they have historically struggled. Despite Arne Slot’s departure from Liverpool, Arsenal has not won at Anfield since 2012. The last encounter ended with a stunning free kick from Dominik Szoboszlai that secured victory for Liverpool. This match will be crucial for Arteta as he looks to break this unfortunate streak against his compatriot Andoni Iraola.

The match against Manchester City will be a significant challenge as they remain a formidable opponent despite Guardiola’s exit. New manager Enzo Maresca brings considerable resources to the team. Arsenal has not lost to City at home in three years and will aim to maintain that record during this pivotal fixture.

The fierce rivalry with Tottenham continues as Arsenal looks to extend their unbeaten streak against Spurs. Following last season’s victories by a score of 4-1 in both encounters, the Gunners are poised to keep this momentum going into December. With other crucial matches scheduled throughout the month, including games against Bournemouth and Manchester United on Boxing Day, December could prove pivotal for Arsenal’s title defense.
