Written byFerdous Saeed

Media personality Amir Hisham reported that a meeting is currently taking place at Al Ahly’s headquarters in Giza, attended by Yassin Mansour, Sayed Abdel Hafiz, and Yes Turb along with his agent Firas, to discuss the terms of contract termination between the parties.

During his program on Modern Sports via the channel “modern mti,” Hisham stated that a preliminary agreement has been reached between Al Ahly officials and Turb regarding the contract termination. The club aims to conclude the contract early by paying a buyout clause equivalent to three months’ salary, in addition to June’s salary, as stipulated in the contract.

He further explained that Al Ahly intends to pay an additional month’s salary, which includes Yes Turb’s agency fee of $250,000 for the last season and $350,000 for the upcoming season, to expedite the resolution before June 30, allowing them to organize their affairs promptly.

Hisham noted that Al Ahly will incur approximately $1.35 million to terminate Turb’s contract, excluding the $250,000 agency fee that has not yet been paid. This means that the total amount required to finalize the contract termination could reach up to $1.6 million.

An official announcement regarding the termination is expected tomorrow, Thursday. Additionally, a board meeting will be held to announce some decisions related to restructuring the football sector.
