Ihsam Sarag Takes Charge of Transfer Strategy at Al Ahly
Al Ahly has embarked on a new phase of reorganization within its football sector, officially appointing Ihsam Sarag El-Din as the Director of Contract Management. This move is part of a broader plan aimed at enhancing the club’s transfer operations and restructuring administrative workflows.
This change comes at a crucial time as the team prepares for the summer transfer window. The new Director will be responsible for managing the status of loaned players, including foreign talents like Reda Slim and Nyets Gradyshar, determining whether to sell them outright or arrange further loans.
Sarag has already begun his duties, with plans to hold consecutive meetings with the football committee to finalize strategies for strengthening the team during the upcoming transfer period. This period is expected to see significant activity regarding both new signings and player departures.
Additionally, he will oversee the review of contracts for players and coaching staff to ensure proper contractual language and protect the club’s rights, as management aims to avoid any potential legal or contractual issues in the future.
Al Ahly’s plans indicate the possibility of securing between six and seven new signings during the upcoming transfer window, focusing on reinforcing key positions such as defense, midfield, and forward roles as part of a team rebuilding effort.
Moreover, Sarag will manage incoming offers for several players to maximize both technical and financial benefits while realigning the squad in accordance with the coaching staff’s vision. His responsibilities also include monitoring existing negotiation opportunities and finalizing deals ahead of the new season’s preparation.
