Zamalek Club Delegation Meets with Awqaf Ministry Over Mit Okba Land Issues
A delegation from the Zamalek Club Board of Directors held a meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, with the Egyptian Awqaf Authority to discuss matters concerning the club’s land in Mit Okba. The meeting focused on addressing all aspects related to the club’s land in accordance with the requirements set by the Awqaf Authority, while exploring solutions and proposals to effectively manage these longstanding issues.
The discussions were comprehensive and resulted in collaborative solutions aimed at safeguarding the rights of the Egyptian state, represented by the Awqaf Ministry, while ensuring the current and future stability of Zamalek Club.
In the coming days, a study will commence to evaluate the technical, legal, and investment aspects of these solutions, with plans to announce them once a final agreement is reached with the Awqaf Authority.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Zamalek Club Board expressed appreciation for the flexibility shown by the Awqaf Authority in finding solutions that ensure the club’s stability while also protecting public endowment rights. The goal is to achieve complete and sustainable stability for Zamalek Club and safeguard the interests of its members and supporters.
