Written byFerdous Saeed

Mohamed Abdel-Monem Kahraba, the former Al Ahly player, has opened up about his relationship with Mortada Mansour, the former president of Zamalek SC.

Kahraba played for Zamalek during Mansour’s tenure before moving to a Portuguese club, eventually returning to the Egyptian league with Al Ahly.

In a recent episode of the podcast “Malabna,” Kahraba stated, “I have no relationship with Mortada Mansour at all. May God guide him. If I see him in the street, I won’t greet him. Why would I greet him anyway?”.

.

He added, “I’m not afraid of Mortada Mansour. Thank God He has always been with me. When I left, Mortada said he would drop a ball on me and wear a galabiya.”.

Kahraba continued, “When I joined Al Ahly, I was suspended for six months. But as soon as I returned, in my first match against Smouha in the semi-finals of the Egypt Cup, I scored one goal and assisted two others. Then against Zamalek, I also scored in a match we won 3-0. That was God’s compensation for me.”.
