The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has released details of the expected weather conditions for Wednesday, June 3, 2026, across the country.
The forecast indicates extremely hot weather prevailing in most regions, with a hot day expected along the northern coasts and moderate to warm temperatures in many areas. The maximum temperature in Greater Cairo is expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius.
Morning fog is anticipated on several roads leading to and from northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. This fog may be dense at times. Light rain is also possible in areas of the northwestern coasts and northern Delta regions, with chances of moderate and occasionally thunderous rain estimated at 20% in parts of the western desert.
Additionally, some clouds are likely to appear over northern Upper Egypt, southern Delta regions, Greater Cairo, and canal cities during the afternoon until the end of the day. This may bring weak chances of light rain in scattered areas. Winds will also be active intermittently across most regions.
Regarding sea conditions, experts expect moderate waves in the Mediterranean Sea with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters. Winds will blow from the southeast/northeast. Meanwhile, conditions in the Red Sea are predicted to be moderate to turbulent with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.5 meters and winds blowing from the northwest.
