Severe Heat Expected in Egypt on Wednesday with Cairo Reaching 38°C
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has forecasted extremely hot weather for Wednesday, with high temperatures expected across most regions. Coastal areas will experience hot conditions during the day, while temperatures will be moderate to slightly warm in other regions.
Mist is anticipated in the morning hours on several routes leading to northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. Some areas may experience dense fog at times.
There is also a chance of light rain in parts of the northwestern coastal areas and northern Delta, with a possibility of moderate and thunderstorm activity at around 20% in some areas of the Western Desert. Winds are expected to be active intermittently across most regions.
Regarding the Mediterranean Sea, conditions are predicted to be moderate with wave heights ranging from 1.5 to 2 meters. Winds will be blowing from the southeast/northeast. In contrast, the Red Sea is expected to be moderate to turbulent with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.5 meters, with winds from the northwest.
