Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan Release Statement on Legal Action Against Reda Abdel Aal
Hossam Hassan and Ibrahim Hassan, the head coach and manager of the Egyptian national team, have issued a clarifying statement regarding the legal actions being taken through their legal advisor during this period.
The twin brothers have opted to pursue legal measures against Reda Abdel Aal, a former player for Al Ahly and Zamalek, following his repeated attacks on them recently. They have also filed a formal complaint with the Supreme Media Council.
This announcement comes as the duo is participating with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup, where they recently drew against Belgium in their opening match.
The statement, published on the twins’ official Facebook page, emphasized that all legal steps are being undertaken under the authority of their legal advisor, Ashraf Abdel Aziz, based on a prior official delegation from Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan that remains valid.
The statement clarified that the legal advisor has full authority to take appropriate actions against any insults or transgressions directed at the twins, in order to safeguard their legal rights and address any potential offenses.
It was noted that these actions are being conducted entirely through the legal advisor without direct involvement from Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan, who are currently focused on their duties with the Egyptian national team during the World Cup held in the United States.
The statement concluded by reaffirming that all procedures are part of the legal delegation granted to the advisor, acknowledging his continuous oversight of matters concerning the twins.
