Zamalek Prepares to Appeal Court Ruling in Salah El-Din Mosadek Case
The Zamalek Club, led by Hussein Labib, has initiated legal proceedings to challenge the disciplinary sanction imposed on them concerning former player Salah El-Din Mosadek. This move is part of the club’s efforts to resolve several legal matters in the current period.
Despite reaching a settlement with the player’s attorney, which was announced as a formal resolution to the issue, Zamalek was surprised by the lack of annulment of the penalty from the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
The club is preparing to file an official appeal against the decision to uphold the disciplinary sanction while awaiting details of the previous ruling. Zamalek argues that the basis for the penalty has been eliminated following the settlement with Mosadek, along with its initiatives to resolve other pending cases.
Currently, Zamalek is focused on concluding as many legal issues as possible before the end of this month to secure a license for participation in African competitions.
