Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, the head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), chaired the Higher Employment Committee to fill senior management positions at both the Qader Advanced Industries Factory and the Semaf Factory. The meeting took place at the AOI’s training academy.

The session was attended by Major General Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Osman, Director General of AOI, Dr. Tamer Amr Said, Director of Graduate Programs and Professional Certificates at the Central Organization for Administration and a number of key officials including the advisor to the head of AOI for chemical industries, heads of human resources sectors, factory heads, and the Director of Personnel Affairs.

During interviews with candidates for senior management roles, General Abdel Latif highlighted the importance of candidates demonstrating strong managerial and leadership capabilities. He emphasized their role in ongoing modernization efforts and building more effective and innovative administrative teams through fostering collaboration, continuous communication, and idea exchange.

It is noteworthy that this committee conducts assessments for all candidates applying for senior management positions within AOI’s factories and companies. The selection criteria are characterized by clarity, precision, and transparency. This includes meeting job requirements, possessing relevant qualifications, specialized training courses, and presenting a comprehensive proposal for developing a unit or one of its main activities.

The developmental proposal must include specific measurable objectives that are practical within available financial and human resources.

Additionally, AOI commends its productive collaboration with the National Training Academy. Personal attribute tests for candidates seeking senior management positions were conducted through this partnership, focusing on leadership skills, decision-making, creativity, problem-solving abilities, crisis management, communication skills, persuasion, and presentation skills.
