Private Sector Contributes Approximately 56.5% to Total Public Investments, Says Prime Minister
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt’s Prime Minister, announced that the private sector is responsible for approximately 56.5% of total public investments.
During his speech at the launch of the second edition of the State Ownership Policy Document, attended by various ministers, officials, private sector representatives, and international funding institutions, Madbouly emphasized that the government has made significant efforts to inject investment across all sectors of the economy.
The State Ownership Policy Document represents a strategic and vital step for the Egyptian economy. It aims to organize and define the structure of state ownership of assets, expand private sector participation in economic development, and enhance the investment climate to increase operational growth rates.
