Real Madrid Pursues Manchester United Star Bruno Fernandes Under Mourinho’s Direction

Bruno Fernandes, the Portuguese international and captain of Manchester United, has emerged as a target for Real Madrid, which is actively seeking to secure his services during the current summer transfer window.

According to Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Real Madrid’s head coach José Mourinho is the driving force behind this interest. He has formally requested that the club’s management prioritize signing his fellow countryman, Bruno Fernandes, to strengthen and enhance the team’s midfield options for the upcoming season.

The report indicates that Real Madrid’s management is fully supportive of Mourinho’s wishes and is prepared to pay the release clause in Fernandes’ contract with Manchester United, which is approximately €60 million. This approach aims to avoid lengthy and complicated negotiations with the Red Devils.

Currently, Fernandes is under a long-term contract with Manchester United, which runs until June 2027. However, Real Madrid’s anticipated move could expedite his departure from Old Trafford before the end of his contract.
