Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt’s Prime Minister, emphasized the government’s strong commitment to supporting expansion plans in factories, boosting production, employment, and exports. He stated that this initiative represents a shared national goal between the government and the private sector.
During the launch of the Foreign Trade Information Portal, the Prime Minister expressed his dedication to visiting factories during field trips to assess business operations and expansion plans. He noted that he takes great pleasure in hearing factory owners announce their intentions to increase investments and expand workforce and production in the coming years.
He pointed out that these initiatives reflect the true objectives of the state, which include increasing investment volumes, boosting exports, and creating new job opportunities. Madbouly stressed that the country’s progress is contingent upon this productive expansion and collaboration between the government and private sector.
The government is working to facilitate exporters’ access to information and data that will aid their expansion into foreign markets while improving product quality to meet global demand. Additionally, support for supply chains is aimed at enhancing export levels.
The launch of the Foreign Trade Information Portal is part of these efforts, providing a comprehensive platform for exporters and investors to make informed decisions and expand into new markets.
Madbouly highlighted that the success of this system depends on its actual usage by investors and exporters. He stressed that the goal is not merely to launch platforms but to ensure tangible benefits in practice while continuously developing them according to user needs.
He reaffirmed that the state is open to any future developments or improvements in this system that serve the business community and enhance Egypt’s economic competitiveness.
