Over 81,000 Students Begin Al-Azhar Secondary and Technical Diplomas Exams

Exams for Al-Azhar secondary students and technical diplomas commenced smoothly today, Saturday, across several governorates, characterized by calm and orderly conditions.

In Beni Suef, the first day of the second week of exams began for students in the scientific stream of Al-Azhar secondary school. A total of 81,294 students are participating, distributed across 581 examination committees, including 41,320 boys and 39,974 girls.

Dr. Yasser Salama, the head of the Central Administration for Al-Azhar Education in Beni Suef, noted that the total number of registered students is 166,206. This includes 84,915 students in the literary stream, with 44,714 boys and 40,201 girls.

Meanwhile, Nasser Hassan Ismail, Deputy Minister of Education in Gharbia, along with Mohamed El-Fayoumi, General Director of Technical Education, monitored the progress of technical diploma exams from the main operations room at the directorate.

Today also marks the commencement of written examinations for technical diploma students across all committees and specialties. Approximately 320,629 students are taking these exams in 115 main and branch committees at various educational administrations according to the published exam schedule for each specialty.

The Deputy Minister ensured that exams are proceeding smoothly across all committees within the governorate. Students were advised to arrive ahead of time to ensure they do not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones or smartwatches that could facilitate cheating. All committee heads were instructed to maintain a conducive exam environment while ensuring fairness among all students.

Dr. Ibrahim Qanawy, Deputy Minister of Education in New Valley, reported that 2,639 students are taking technical diploma exams today across 14 committees in five centers within the governorate.

He confirmed that examinations are running smoothly across various specialties within well-prepared committees that ensure comfort and care for students. Adequate ventilation and water coolers have been arranged to provide a suitable exam environment characterized by calmness and discipline. Quick responses to any observations or emergencies during this period are also emphasized.

Furthermore, regular inspections are being conducted on teachers’ accommodations assigned to assist with exam administration to ensure all necessary logistical needs for comfortable living conditions are met.
