Sisi Emphasizes Continued Efforts to Enhance State Administrative Efficiency

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi convened a meeting today with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, General Ashraf Salim Zahir, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Major General Amr Adel Hosni, Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Engineer Hatem Nabil, Head of the Central Organization for Administration and Management, Major General Mohamed Salah El-Turki, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, and Dr. Slava Jweili, Executive Director of the National Academy for Training and Qualification of Youth.

The official spokesperson for the presidency stated that President El-Sisi reviewed during the meeting the implementation status of governance concerning new appointments in the state, promotions, and appointments to leadership positions. This review is part of his ongoing oversight of administrative reform efforts aimed at developing human capital and building leadership capable of facilitating institutional and societal transformation, thereby enhancing Egypt’s regional and international standing.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson, added that the meeting emphasized that enhancing the state administrative apparatus is a comprehensive process that includes several key areas. These include training and developing human resources, improving infrastructure, and reorganizing structural and organizational relationships among various units according to their activities and specialties.

In this context, discussions included the implementation of several institutional development projects, expanding electronic evaluation tools, refining work mechanisms and training processes, as well as investing in human resources by selecting competent individuals capable of management and development to improve public service levels through coordination among relevant authorities.

The spokesperson clarified that President El-Sisi stressed the importance of continuing efforts to develop the state administrative apparatus to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in meeting comprehensive development requirements. He directed a focus on rationalizing resource use while achieving higher levels of governance and institutional effectiveness. This includes maintaining standards of efficiency, meritocracy, and transparency across all operational procedures within the state administrative apparatus.
