Sisi Emphasizes Respect for Congolese Territorial Integrity and Support for Peace Efforts

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has stressed the importance of respecting the territorial integrity of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and supporting peace efforts in its eastern regions. He expressed Egypt’s solidarity with Congo by offering all forms of medical support and humanitarian assistance to address the challenges it faces.

During a joint press conference with Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi at the presidential headquarters, El-Sisi highlighted Egypt’s readiness to contribute to development initiatives in Congo, leveraging the extensive experience of Egyptian companies in this sector. This meeting took place as part of President Tshisekedi’s visit to Egypt, attended by delegations from both countries.
