Written byFerdous Saeed

The Zamalek Sporting Club has formally reached out to both FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in an effort to lift the transfer ban imposed on the club. This move comes as Zamalek seeks to bolster its squad ahead of the upcoming season.

The club’s management believes that resolving this issue is crucial for their plans, particularly as they aim to enhance their competitive edge in the Egyptian Premier League. The ban has significantly affected Zamalek’s ability to register new players, hindering their preparation for the season.

Jose Gomes, the head coach of Zamalek, along with club officials, is optimistic that their appeal will yield a favorable outcome. They are looking forward to adding new talent to the team, which they believe will be instrumental in achieving their goals.

As Zamalek continues to navigate this challenging situation, fans and stakeholders are hopeful for a swift resolution that would allow the club to participate fully in player transfers.
