Chelsea Sets High Price for Enzo Fernandez Amid Real Madrid Interest
English reports indicate that Chelsea has set a high financial valuation for their Argentine star, Enzo Fernandez, amid growing interest from Real Madrid in acquiring him during the current summer transfer window.
According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail,” sources close to the player have confirmed that Real Madrid is seriously monitoring his situation in the market, noting that Fernandez is open to exploring a new experience outside of the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is awaiting an official approach from the Spanish club before determining its final stance on selling the player, especially given the management’s insistence on not letting him go unless an exorbitant offer is made.
The reports reveal that Chelsea has valued Fernandez at approximately £120 million, emphasizing that they will not agree to his departure for any amount lower than this figure. The club may consider keeping him in the squad for the next season if a suitable offer does not materialize.
Additionally, sources indicate that the London club is currently making no active efforts to put the player on the market and prefers to wait and see if Real Madrid’s interest will translate into a formal bid.
Enzo Fernandez’s contract with Chelsea runs until 2032, providing the English club with significant negotiating power in any future discussions, especially with other European clubs like Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain also expressing interest in acquiring him.
